Services

Structured, evidence-led rights management.

Everything we do is built around one idea: a copyright claim is only as strong as its paperwork.

Copyright enforcement

From discovery to resolution, every step on the record.

We handle copyright matters across whole photography portfolios. The approach is methodical and proportionate, and every case follows the same documented path:

  1. Identify the use

Image matching finds the photograph in use, and each match is compared with the original file before a case is opened.

  2. Capture the evidence

Full-page screenshots and page metadata, with independent web-archive copies where available — preserved when the use is found, before anything can change.

  3. Confirm the rights

Every case rests on the photograph’s source record — its author, and its licence and version — and on the written authority under which we act for the photographer.

  4. Assess the use

Commercial or personal, prominence, duration, credit. Each letter sets out the sum sought and how it is made up. Our standard licence rates are published separately.

  5. Make contact, professionally

A clear letter with a case reference, the evidence, the basis of the claim and the options available — including simply writing back to us. What each letter asks.

  6. Resolve

We aim to resolve every matter fairly and in writing — with a retrospective licence, a settlement, or by closing the case where a licence is shown. Where a matter can’t be resolved, we prepare it for proceedings with the evidence already preserved.

Portfolio & case management

One system of record for an entire archive.

Behind every case is the infrastructure that makes it defensible. We centralise the records that matter — original works, licence history, agreements, correspondence — and manage every matter through a structured case system with clear status tracking and a full audit trail for legal and financial reporting.

The same system brings together third-party image-matching services, web-archive capture, company and domain research, and perceptual-hash verification that confirms a found image really is the original — not just something similar.

Licensing

The goal is a licence, not a fight.

Retrospective licences

Use that has already happened can be regularised with a retrospective licence, agreed in writing. Our standard retrospective-use rates are published; where we have written to you, the sum and how it is made up are in the letter.

Future use

Want to keep using an image? Ask us for a licence covering future use, on clear terms agreed in writing. A retrospective licence covers the past use only.

New licensing

Publishers, agencies and businesses can license work from the portfolios we manage directly, before a letter is ever needed. Our licence rates are published.

Whether you’ve received a letter, want to license an image, or are a photographer with an archive that needs minding — the fastest route is a short email with your case reference or portfolio details.
